- Flour
- Egg
- Fresh yeast
- Sugar
- Sparkling water
- Sunflower oil
- Mild cheese
- Wooden skewers
- Rustic bread
A simple and delicious mouth-watering light bite.
Preparation:
First, prepare the frying dough by mixing all the ingredients together at the same time, then leave it in the fridge for about 2 hours so the yeast can do its work.
Once that time is up, dice the cheese into 40 g cubes. Stick a wooden skewer into each cube, coat each one in dough and fry them in very hot oil. Meanwhile, slice and toast the bread. This is very easy to serve, just place each cheese “bonbon” on a little piece of toast.
If you choose a very creamy cheese, it’s better to leave it in the freezer for a little while before frying, so it doesn’t melt.
