Regulated parking in the beach area opens for the 2025 season
Regulated parking spaces in the beach area of the Sant Martí district will be available to the public from 1 April to 30 September 2025. A total of 319 blue AREA parking spaces, marked with blue paint, are available and will be subject to Tariff B - the amount will vary depending on the environmental badge assigned to each vehicle by the DGT.

For the 2025 season, 319 AREA blava spaces will be available, and these will be clearly marked with blue paint:
- 83 regulated parking spaces on Av. Icària, in the area between C/ Joan Miró and Pg. Llacuna.
- 89 regulated parking spaces on C/ Salvador Espriu, in the area between C/ Frederic Mompou and Pg. Llacuna.
- 147 regulated parking spaces on Av. Litoral, in the area between C/ Joan Miró and C/ Jonquera, on Av. Litoral.
The regulated parking hours for these spaces will be from 9 am. to 8 pm, Monday to Sunday, including public holidays, with a maximum stay of 2 hours. Within this time frame, the corresponding parking permit must be obtained.
Parking regulations in the beach area are designed to allow as many people as possible to park on public roads by urban beaches. This means that once the maximum length of parking time indicated on a sign is reached, the parking space must be vacated to allow other users to park.
Obtaining parking permits
To obtain permits to park in these regulated spaces, we recommend that users use the free SMOU mobile app. The app allows users to pay for parking in blue and green zones in Barcelona and its metropolitan area digitally, obtaining a digital parking permit that can be verified securely and in real time by surveillance devices, meaning there is no need to use a parking meter or return to the vehicle to display the permit on the windscreen. Furthermore, you only pay for the actual number of minutes you park for.
