Film critic
With a PhD in Communication, she is professor at the Film and Audiovisual School of Catalonia (ESCAC) and Pompeu Fabra University. She has contributed to various collective books, coordinated the volume Very Funny Things. Nueva Comedia Americana [Very Funny Things: New American Comedy] (Donostia Zinemaldia, 2012), and authored 50 maneras de morir. Cine negro y poética de la fatalidad [50 Ways to Die: Film Noir and the Poetics of Fatality] (Editorial UOC, 2022).
She has been a member of the selection committee at the Sitges Film Festival - International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia, where she also led the Publications Department, and acts as a programming advisor for the Mannheim-Heidelberg International Film Festival. A regular collaborator on the programme La finestra indiscreta on Catalunya Ràdio, and to the magazine Caimán Cuadernos de Cine, as a member of the editorial board. She is the first woman to preside over the Catalan Association of Film Critics and Writers (ACCEC).
