Actress and writer

(Santiago, Chile, 1971). She is an actress and writer. Among her other works, she has published the novels Mapocho (2002, Municipal Literature Prize), Space Invaders (2013, finalist for the National Book Award), Chilean Electric (2015, Best Published Works Award from the National Book Council), and La dimensión desconocida [The Twilight Zone] (2016, Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz Prize and finalist for the National Book Award). 

Her most recent works include Voyager, Preguntas frecuentes [Frequently Asked Questions] and ¿Cómo recordar la sed? [How to Remember Thirst?]. Her books have been translated into various languages. She is the author of the plays El Taller [The Workshop] (2012), Liceo de niñas [Girls’ Secondary School] (2015), Paren la música [Stop the Music] (2021), El difunto imaginario [The Imaginary Deceased] (2023), as well as the theatrical adaptations of Space Invaders (2022) and Voyager (2024).
