Photography historian

(Vigo, 1959). PhD in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, with a doctoral thesis (1998) on the photographic group AFAL. Retired secondary education teacher, she curates exhibitions and has researched the archives of the most significant photographers in the recent history of Spanish photography.

She is a content advisor and columnist for EXIT magazine. She oversees the archive of Ricard Terré, her father and was a collaborator at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (MNCARS) from 2014 to 2018, working on curating a collection of Spanish photography from the 1950s and 60s. In addition, she directed the TRAFIC, Photographic Experience festival, from 2007 to 2009, held at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona. Since 2011, she has been an advisor to the National Photography Plan, supported by the Ministry of Culture, and has collaborated with the Fundación Mapfre. Recently, she has designed a series of lectures for them at the KBr Photography Centre in Barcelona.
