He's a doctor with a PhD in biochemistry, currently dedicated to scientific journalism.
He collaborates with the Science Media Centre Spain and various media outlets. He has received several awards for scientific journalism, including the Prismas Casa de las Ciencias Award, the Concha García Campoy Award and the Boehringer Ingelheim Health Journalism Award, among others. He is also a co-author of the book Ciencia sin ficción [Science Without Fiction].
