Anthropologist
A tenured Professor of Tourism Anthropology at the University of Barcelona, her research focuses on tourism and travel culture, heritage creation processes and the intersection of mobility and the digital economy.
Currently, she co-leads the Remotework project, alongside Professor Belén Fernández Suárez from the University of A Coruña, studying return migration and digital nomadism in Spain. She is also involved in the INCA Horizon Europe project, which investigates the impact of major digital platforms on labour relations.
