Pl. Dolors Piera - enter on Sancho de Ávila, 135
Using light as a common theme, the installation aims to make visible a building steeped in history, one that despite having been forgotten continues to call out to us from within its silence. The old C.G.A. bus depots, which were key to mobility in local neighbourhoods and to the urban growth of the city, are transformed into a scenario in which memory and innovation harmoniously coexist. This space, configured by the rear facade of the empty building, presents the traces of its past, a latent force that must be listened to.
The installation uses light not only to illuminate, but also to breathe new life into this space, opening it up as a meeting point between the community and its origins. At the same time it projects a vision of the future, in which each element of the installation, from the light to the words and verses, becomes an opportunity to bring this place and its hidden histories alive.
