Type: Installation
Audience: All ages
Our lives took an unexpected turn almost a year ago and we found ourselves confined to our homes day after day.
The Finestres [Windows] project shows the relationship that was established with the outside world through our windows, which enabled us to see an empty Barcelona and, by contrast, the lives that went on around us, those of our neighbours. The spectator will relive this experience, but this time while receiving a message of hope.
The visual narrative of this light sculpture is based on the explanation of the lockdown from the four stages of life: Childhood, adolescence, adulthood and old age. The images, presented with the mapping technique, are everyday actions from daily life during the lockdown that lead to a dialogue with the user through retrospection.
