Humankind is facing sweeping changes that are causing us to reconsider our relationship with public spaces and the community. And, gradually, play has moved almost fully online, migrating to an invisible digital place.
The transition from physical to virtual play has escalated since March 2020. This facility, for example, is located on a basketball court that was once a place of community and laughter. Now, it is rarely used to its full potential: it is simply yet another empty space in the city.
In basketball, 24 seconds is the maximum amount of time allowed for a team to throw the ball at the basket. 24 Seconds is a basketball game with no players, a game in which the balls are moved by light, without touch, a proposal that makes you want to get together, attend a unique basketball game and remember the times and sensations of playing freely.
