La Tabalada (drumming) is the starting point of the afternoon-evening fire par excellence of La Mercè. This first participative percussion show brings together groups of devil drummers, both children and adults, as well as dragons and fire beasts. It starts at the crossroads of Passeig de Gràcia with Carrer de Provence and moves to Passeig de Gràcia with Consell de Cent.

The Tabalada is an explosion of rhythms and sounds, which turns passeig de Gràcia into a great party scene. Next, the children's correfoc follows the same route of the Tabalada, but in the opposite direction, from Consell de Cent towards Provence. This activity allows the little ones to participate in the excitement of the correfoc, maintaining the intensity and energy of the party.
