7 reinas and Esto no es un funky are the latest works to come from sisterhood, feminism, respect and admiration in 2024. UNITY has been launched as a tour to give visibility to women and continue to grow and develop networks. UNITY is unity! It’s a revolution! UNITY is a collective of women artists linked to the national scene in hip-hop, reggae, dancehall, soul and afrobeat. The project is made up of veterans Suzanna (Barcelona), La Basu (Basque Country), Ms Maiko (Gran Canaria) and Zeidah (Barcelona), who during this time have also worked with national and international artists such as Marga Mbande (Equatorial Guinea), Clipper (Uruguay), Woyza (Galicia), Tesa (Valencia) and VitterSweet (Basque Country). Each of them is a key figure for understanding the independence of women in the music industry in this country. Their careers and achievements speak for themselves. They have been pioneers in various styles and continue to be an important part of the history of music in their cities for the entire community of speakers of Spanish and minority languages (Galician, Catalan, Basque, Bapuku and the Canarian Dialect).
