Teresa López Pellisa

Teresa López Pellisa, born in Alcanyís in 1979, is a literature professor at the University of Alcalá. Her research focuses on science fiction literature and its relationship with virtual reality, literature and cyberculture, theatre and new technologies, as well as gender studies. Her published books include Patologías de la realidad virtual: Cibercultura y ciencia ficción [Pathologies of Virtual Reality: Cyberculture and Science Fiction], Visiones de lo fantástico en la cultura española (1970-2012), [Visions of the Fantastic in Spanish Culture: 1970-2012], and the anthologies Las otras  [The Other Women] and Insólitas [Unusual Women] (Páginas de Espuma), in addition to several articles in scholarly journals.
