Ted Chiang
Ted Chiang, born in New York in 1967, is a prestigious science fiction author with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. Over the course of three decades, with 19 stories, he’s won four Hugo awards, four Nebulas, six Locuses and many more, including, with Exhalation, the 42 Award for the best book translated into Catalan. His other major short story collection, Stories of Your Life and Others (also translated into Catalan and Spanish), became famous in 2016 when the eponymous story was turned into a film directed by Denis Villeneuve, Arrival.
