Ricard Efa

Ricard Efa, born in Sabadell in 1976, teaches at the Escola Joso comic/visual arts school. His work has been published by some of the leading comic book publishers in the Franco-Belgian market (Dupuis, Lombard, Delcourt, Vents d’Ouest, Futuropolis), and has been translated in a dozen countries. In 2018, he was nominated for the Eisner Awards for Monet: Nómada de la luz [Monet: Nomad of Light] (Norma). He has also been featured in Cavall Fort, Ara, Spirou, ImageDoc, Sàpiens and Volata. Mai Més published his science fiction novel Les màquines del caos [The Machines of Chaos] and his comic series Noceà, set in a dystopian future, while this year, they have published the first instalments of his space opera hexalogy Stella Signata.
