Marc Pastor

Marc Pastor, born in Barcelona in 1977, is a criminologist working for the scientific unit of the Mossos d’Esquadra (Catalan police), as well as an amateur “chrononaut” who’s created the Corvoverse. His popular novels include Montecristo, Crims de Tinta Award-winning La mala dona [translated into English as Barcelona Shadows], L’any de la plaga  [The Year of the Plague], Bioko and Farishta. He’s also published Els àngels et miren  [The Angels Are Watching You] L’horror de Rèquiem [The Requiem Horror] (Mai Més) and recently, Riu de safirs [River of Sapphires] (Edicions 62), a colonial mystery set in Madagascar that also ties in with the entire fantastic universe he has created. His works have been translated into a dozen languages.
