Lucia Pietrelli

Lucia Pietrelli, born in Italy in 1984, has published the poetry collections Fúria [Fury], Violacions [Violations], Esquelet [Skeleton], Mort d’un aviador tartamut [Death of a Stuttering Pilot], Ortigues [Nettle], V and La terra i altres llocs [Earth and Other Places], as well as the novels Nissaga [Lineage], Qui ens defensarà [The One to Defend Us] and Cadenes [Chains]. She’s also the woman behind the play Irene i la terra adormida [Irene and the Sleeping Earth], which premiered at the Teatre Principal de Palma in November 2018. Her novel Lítica [Lithic], published by Males Herbes, won the Lletra d’Or Award, and this year, Males Herbes has also published Deimos, her parable of an island abandoned by Death.
