Jordi de Manuel
Jordi de Manuel, born in Barcelona in 1962, is a professor with a PhD in biology who has penned 17 novels and approximately a hundred stories. He’s the creator of the Inspector Marc Sergiot saga, where the police genre meets science fiction. Among other awards, he’s received three Ictineus awards, the Pin i Soler City of Tarragona Award, the Manuel de Pedrolo Science Fiction Award and the Pere Calders Award. His two latest science fiction works are Caront [Charon] (Clandestina, 2023) and Àcars [Mites] (Obscura, 2024).
