Elisenda Solsona

Elisenda Solsona, born in Olesa de Montserrat in 1984, is an author and secondary school teacher. She holds undergraduate degrees in humanities, from Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), and audiovisual communication, from the University of Barcelona (UB). Her works include Cirurgies [Surgeries] (Voliana) and Satèl·lits [Satellites] (Males Herbes), which have won her the Imperdibles and Ictineu awards. She has been featured in the anthology Autòctones [Homegrown Female Authors] and in the short story collection The Valancourt Book of World Horror Stories with Mechanisms, Mara Faye Lethem’s translation of her story Engranatges from Satèl·lits, and her latest book is the novel Mammalia, recently published by Males Herbes.
