Diego Sánchez Aguilar
Diego Sánchez Aguilar, born in Cartagena in southern Spain in 1974, holds a PhD in Hispanic philology and teaches Spanish language and literature. He’s published Setenil Award-winning short story collection Nuevas teorías sobre el orgasmo femenino [New Theories on the Female Orgasm] and poetry collections Diario de las bestias blancas [Diary of White Beasts] (Dionisia García International Award), Las célebres órdenes de la noche [The Renowned Orders of the Night] La cadena del frío [The Cold Chain]. With Candaya, he´s published the novels Factbook. El libro de los hechos and, this year, Los que escuchan [Those Who Listen], which traces the ghostly origins of a sound that changes the lives of several characters at a future G7 summit.
