Clara Cortés

Clara Cortés, born in Madrid in 1996, is a self-taught author and illustrator who studied psychology and seeks to accurately represent mental health issues and the LGBTQI+ community in her works. She’s been publishing since 2015, with notable novels such as Clementine, Somos astronautas [We Are Astronauts] El miedo restante [The Remaining Fear] and Ellen y TJ [Ellen and TJ], published by La Galera, in addition to stories for the Fiction Express platform and online comics for the free platform Tapas. El sol allá arriba [The Sun Up There] (Elastic Books) is her ninth novel and the first in which she fully immerses herself into the horror genre.
