Bruno Puelles
Bruno Puelles, born in Madrid in 1990, is a novelist and playwright shortlisted for the Minotauro Award in 2020 and 2022, the Ignotus Awards in 2020 and 2022, and the Utrera Award in 2019, with an honourable mention in the 2018 UPC Awards. His published novels include El ciclo de vida de la mariposa nocturna [The Life Cycle of Moths], Marea oscura [Dark Wave], Nistagmo [Nystagmus], Simbiosis [Symbiosis], La ciudad de los mil ojos [The City of a Thousand Eyes] and Las tres despedidas de Georg Kahn [The Three Goodbyes of Georg Kahn]. He’s recently made his literary fiction debut with Lo frágil y lo eterno [The Fragile and the Eternal] (Umbriel), which immerses readers in a corner of post-World War I Europe that’s teeming with stories.
