Valeria Bergalli
Valeria Bergalli (Buenos Aires, 1962) grew up between Argentina, Italy and Germany. She has been living in Catalonia since the late 1980s. She is a cultural anthropologist, translator and director of Minúscula, the publishing house she founded in Barcelona in 1999, from which she has helped to disseminate the works of prominent names in global literature like Victor Klemperer, Marisa Madieri, Annemarie Schwarzenbach and Giani Stuparich. She has also revived works by other important writers like Shirley Jackson, Varlam Shalamov and Anna Maria Ortese, and has published works by younger authors like Nona Fernández, Gonzalo Maier, Paula Porroni and Aleksandra Lun.
