Susana Vallejo Chavarino

Susana Vallejo Chavarino (Madrid 1968) is an acclaimed fantasy and sci-fi author who grew up in the Las Águilas and Carabanchel neighbourhoods. She has a bachelor's degree in Advertising and Public Relations and has lived in Barcelona since 1994. A founding member of Phantastica, an online school of genre literature, she has had 15 novels published, including adult and YA literature, which have earned her awards such as the Ictineu and the Edebé YA Literature award. Her many works include the YA fantasy saga Porta Coeli, where her passion for mediaeval environments is apparent. One of her recent publications is her YA novel La familia Delorean viaja en el tiempo, which combines the adventures genre with science fiction.
