Remedios Zafra

Remedios Zafra (Zuheros, 1973) is an essayist, university professor and researcher at the Philosophy Institute of the Spanish National Research Council. She works in the critical study of contemporary culture, the transformation of creative work, feminism and online identity politics. She also holds a PhD and bachelor's in Art, a bachelor's in Social Anthropology and has pursued doctoral studies in Political Philosophy. Her work has received awards like the Jovellanos International Essay Award and the Anagrama Essay Award. She is the author of many books, including El bucle invisible (Nobel, 2022), Frágiles (Anagrama, 2021), El Entusiasmo (2017), Ojos y Capital (2015), (h)adas (2013) and Un cuarto propio conectado (2010), and she and Teresa López-Pellisa co-edited Ciberfeminismo: de VNS Matrix a Laboria Cuboniks (Holobionte, 2019).
