Pere Gorgoll Noell
Pere Gorgoll Noell (Amer, 1962) has a degree in Catalan Philology from the University of Girona and is a writer. He began his literary career in 2003 with the publication of the poetry collection Desmemòria (Joan Llacuna d'Igualada Award) and the essay George Harrison o la silenciosa mística del ‘beatle’ invisible (Literary Portrait Award from the Recull de Blanes Awards ). He has won awards like the Flor Natural at the Jocs Florals in Calella, the Pirineu Story Award, the Montseny Poetry Award and the Vila de Gràcia Poetry Award. He recently published El dia que el món va fer un pet com un aglà (Amsterdam Llibres), which earned him the Roc Boronat Novel Award.
