Mar Bosch Oliveras
Mar Bosch Oliveras (Girona, 1981) has a bachelor's degree in Philosophy specialising in Cultural Journalism from the University of Girona. She is a teacher at Girona's Writing Workshop, runs book clubs and writes for El País newspaper’s 'Quadern' cultural supplement. She made her debut as a novelist with Bedlam, darrere les hores càlides (winner of the Just M. Casero Novella award), followed by Les generacions espontànies, Vindràs amb mi després del diluvi and La dona efervescent (winner of the La Isla de los Libros award). She has written YA works such as the futurist El dia de l’esquerda. Her latest novel, the elegiac dystopian L’edat dels vius, received the Joan Crexells award.
