Laia Baldevey

Laia Baldevey (Sant Vicenç de Montalt, 1991) is an illustrator who specialises in the fantastic world shaping local folklore. She has loved drawing since she was a child and went on to study Fine Arts, specialising in the design of imaginary worlds for the creation of 3D animation. Since then, she has worked for children's series, such as Gormiti, as well as with musical groups ranging from Obeses to El Pony Pisador. She currently works as a cover artist and illustrator in the publishing world, and her passion for reviving folklore and popular culture has led her to draw for several well-known publications, such as Daniel Rangil's successful book Mitologia dels Països Catalans, published by Efadós (a publishing house she continues to collaborate with).
