Juanma Santiago

Juanma Santiago (Madrid, 1970) is an essayist, lecturer and corrector. He has combined directing publications like Stalker, Gigamesh and Artifex Cuarta Época with teaching. He wrote the cinematographic essay Porque yo tengo un arma y tú no. La guerra de los Balcanes en el cine (2002) in conjunction with José Miguel Pallarés, with whom he also selected pieces for the historical anthology La edad de oro del fantástico español (1989-2009) (Apache Libros). He and Fernando Ángel Moreno coordinate the collective essay group Patrick Hannahan, el mejor escritor del mundo (Hermenaute, 2023). He has also published the novel Moriremos por fuego amigo. Crónica de la ciencia ficción española de los años noventa… y más allá (2019) and the compilation Tierra de venados y otros relatos (2023).
