Isabel del Río
Isabel del Río (Barcelona, 1983) holds a degree in philosophy from the UAB and has been a professional in the book world since 2009. As a writer, she has cultivated novels, short stories and poetry. A cultural agitator and bookseller at Gigamesh, she also contributes to literary magazines like Librújula, El Biblionauta and Libros Prohibidos. Her latest publications include the compilation of terror stories En la casa de Ícelo (InLimbo Ediciones, 2022) and Mare (Spècula Llibres, 2023 and in Spanish at Ediciones El Transbordador), a novel that travels from science fiction to cosmic terror; it won the Imperdible Award for the best novel in fantastical genres and was a finalist for the 2023 Ictineu Award. She recently published the second part of Rojo sobre Negro: La Ausencia de todos los Colores, a dark, urban fantasy novel.
