Francisco Martorell Campos

Francisco Martorell Campos holds a PhD in Philosophy and is a member of the Histopía research group. His research revolves around the cultural imaginaries of the future and the utopia-dystopia dialectic today. He has published numerous articles on these topics, as well as the books Soñar de otro modo. La reinvención de la utopía (La Caja Books, reissued in 2023) and Contra la distopía. La cara B de un género de masas (La Caja Books, 2021). Science fiction is at the core of all his work not only as a symptom of social trends but also as a tool to analyse them.
