Ada Castells
Ada Castells (Barcelona, 1968) is a novelist living between the Empordà and the Eixample. She teaches creative writing workshops, and whenever she finishes a novel, she gifts herself a dramaturgy workshop at the Obrador de la Beckett. She reads, reads and reads, and also swims, crochets and cares for a cat... or perhaps the cat cares for her. The author of numerous novels ranging from El dit de l’àngel (Empúries) to Mare (La Campana), several of which have won awards, she recently published Solastàlgia (L'Altra Editorial), where she reflects on how our mental health is tottering because of the climate emergency.
