Escolab Meets IBB

We visit the Botanical Institute of Barcelona (IBB), a research center that houses large botanical collections and is dedicated to research into the classification of the plant world and pollinators and their migrations. We do it with the help of researcher Joan Pere Pascual who explains how new technologies and methodologies, where genetics plays a crucial role, allow us a much better resolution that can be applied in plant classification studies. Likewise, these studies make it possible to discover new drugs or improve the utility of plants.
