We visit the Higher Technical School of Engineering of Roads, Canals and Ports of the UPC, from where teaching takes place but also a lot of research and very diverse topics are studied such as transport, structures or numerical calculation. Professor and researcher Rolando Chacón specializes in "digital twins" which are virtual representations of physical systems such as a bridge. We will see, among other things, how these simulations can allow us to make more efficient, reliable and safe constructions.
