Observations: Situated very close to the hornbeam (Carpinus betulus) which is also a catalogued tree from this garden, it shares the excellent climatic conditions of these old Botanical Gardens. It is a large and very erect, shady specimen, which belongs to a variety which is not frequently found in Barcelona.
