All the Exhibitions for the Santa Eulàlia Festivities for 2023
This year the Santa Eulàlia Festivities are back to be enjoyed once again! As usual, you can start enjoying the festival atmosphere with a range of exhibitions.
First of all, the Laies giants will be on display at the Palau de la Virreina. From Saturday 4 to Saturday 11 February (from 10 am until 8 pm) you’ll be able to see all the Ciutat Vella giants that traditionally participate in the Passejada de les Laies on the patron saint’s feast day, 12 February. Taking part in the procession will be the little giant Laia, Laia del Pi and Eulàlia de la Plaça Nova, together with other giants from El Pi, El Raval, La Barceloneta, El Casc Antic, Santa Maria del Mar, Sant Pere de les Puel•les, Sant Jaume Apòstol and from the Casa de la Caritat. From the evening of Wednesday, 8 February, you’ll be able to see Violant, presented by City Giants, who have a surprise in store to mark the 600th anniversary of giants in Barcelona.
Pati Manning at the Casa de Caritat will be hosting the Children’s and School’s Giants exhibition, which will be open to visitors from 4 to 10 February, from 10 am to 8 pm (from 6 pm on Saturday 4 Feb). The event will once again feature figures from various Barcelona schools alongside others from the city’s giant carrier groups. There’ll be children’s giants in every Barcelona neighbourhood, in an exhibition organised by the Coordinadora de Colles Geganteres. The exhibition will open with a concert from La Nota Grallera on Saturday 4 February at 6pm.
Not to be missed!
