La fotògrafa de natura i viatgera Marta Bretó ha fet més d'una desena d'expedicions per seguir la pista a la guineu àrtica islandesa. Tant a l'estiu com a l'hivern ha pogut compartir amb aquest animal els millors llums i els moments més bonics, però també les condicions meteorològiques més dures i les situacions més extremes per captar imatges que mostren les dificultats que afronta aquest animal per sobreviure en un entorn tan hostil.
