Joabe Reis és un dels noms més rellevants del nou jazz brasiler. Trombonista, compositor i productor, va debutar en solitari l’any 2020 amb el disc ‘Crew in Church’, enregistrat amb col·laboradors de la categoria de Toninho Horta, Nelson Ayres i Elliot Manson, trombonista de Nova York y membre de la Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. Enamorat del jazz, admet també influències de hip-hop, neo-soul, funk i pop. En la seva fulgurant trajectòria, ha tocat amb figures de l’altura de Macy Gray, amb qui va fer una gira exitosa pel Brasil, Ivan Lins, Bob Mintzer, Hermeto Pascoal i Hamilton de Holanda, entre d’altres. Al Jamboree, actuarà en el marc d’una gira europea i presentarà el seu nou disc, ‘028’ (2024), a on participen músics com Bob Mintzer i Gabriel Grossi.
