L’ictus és una de les principals causes de mort i discapacitat a Europa. Afortunadament, però, podem ajudar a disminuir els rics de patir-ne un si controlem aquells factors que depenen del nostre estil de vida. No obstant això, el desenvolupament d’aquesta malaltia que afecta els vasos sanguinis que subministren sang al cervell, també té un component genètic. Acompanya’ns en aquesta xerrada per descobrir com la recerca ens permet identificar gens que incrementen el risc de patir un ictus i com això ens apropa a poder predir en el futur quin segment de la població presenta major o menor risc de patir la malaltia.
