Conferència 'Nabucco de Verdi'

L’èxit de l’estrena de Nabucco fou aclaparador, no només per les virtuts musicals de l’obra, sinó perquè el públic, ja immers dins l’onada nacionalista que acabaria desembocant en la unificació d’Itàlia en un sol estat, es va veure reflectit en la trama: un episodi de l’exili hebreu a Babilònia després de la conquesta de Jerusalem per part del rei Nabucodonosor II.
