Els organismes genèticament modificats (OGM) han estat la principal eina emprada per promoure beneficis econòmics per a la indústria agroalimentària. El rebuig social contra aquesta tecnologia ha aconseguit moltes restriccions com l'etiquetatge obligatori o el fet que calguin permisos específics per poder plantar-los. Una nova tecnologia per fer OGM, el Crispr, està reduint aquestes restriccions. Aquesta xerrada farà un repàs històric a l'evolució de la lluita contra els OGM i explicarà de forma pedagògica aquesta nova tecnologia.
