El quartet Alberto Burguez & The Flying Roots s’inspira en les arrels de la música afroamericana, i més en concret en l’estil que va emergir a Nova Orleans a partir de l’any 1950. Amb un repertori de clàssics i temes propis, Alberto Burguez & The Flying Roots barreja la potència rítmica del groove amb la força del blues, la delicadesa del swing i les cançons que parlen d’històries úniques. El resultat és una proposta singular, un grup que arriba a nous espais amb una música viva i original.
