Començar de nou (Satélite K, 2023) is the third album by Paula Valls (Manlleu, 1999) and the first in Catalan. It came out after a period away from the stage, marking a turning point, but highlighting everything she has lived through. It is a portrait of Paula today, neither more confident nor more definitive, simply calmer.
Her lyrics are encrypted with the artist's poetry, and deal with very intimate experiences. The exercise is that of undressing, living with complexes and everything that is part of the human experience. Fear, apathy, self-love, uncertainty and rage, honesty is not always pleasant, and the album welcomes every unfiltered thought.
This project celebrates imperfections and exposes a society that never lets itself falter.
