2024 marks the 50th anniversary of Il Giardinetto, a restaurant which opened in 1974. The restaurant was one of the most internationally renowned interior design projects by the architects Federico Correa and Alfons Milà. Coincidentally, both architects were born in 1924 so we can celebrate the one hundredth anniversary of their births as well this year. The restaurant is the only establishment to have received two FAD Interior Design Awards — one in 1974, when it opened, and one in 2013, when the Llamazares/Pomés team received the second prize for carrying out the renovation work.
