The Faculty of Geography and History at the University of Barcelona has been a premier institution for teaching, study and research in anthropology, archaeology, geography, history and art history since it was created in 1975.

Strategically located in downtown Barcelona, it naturally draws a large and highly diverse student body. Its classrooms and labs are fully equipped to meet the university community’s needs.

The Faculty has four departments and numerous consolidated research groups.
