Fabra i Coats – Art Factory is a municipal facility that aims to cater to every stage of creative and knowledge-production processes—research, investigation, creation, production and exhibition—and ensure that they are introduced into the established dissemination networks and circuits. The aim of La Fabra is to generate work spaces and resources and put them at the disposal of artists, collectives and cultural agents, while also providing training resources, support and visibility to projects. As a dissemination space, La Fabra generates and hosts a busy programme of public activities related to contemporary artistic and cultural practices. These city-based programmes contribute to reinforcing the Sant Andreu neighbourhood as a creative and cultural force.
