Winning project of the public competition of municipal plots destined to cooperative housing in assignment of use. The building has a program of 32 houses with community spaces and, with eight floors high, it will be the highest building in the State built with wood (structure of CLT counterlaminated wood panels). The block is developed around three main concepts: a model of cohousing and use assignment (new model of coexistence and tenure); an urban contribution (the solution of the project creates a set of heights to adapt to the environment, which is used as an ecological space of the building and avoids the appearance of a large dividing wall in the urban landscape), and an environmental commitment (it is a minimal passive building, with a minimal temperature footprint) In addition, the project foresees the existence of an urban garden on the roof and an economy on the ground floor, an example of how the concepts that revolve around sustainable food transform the city and its architecture.
