Antònia Vicens and Biel Mesquida

In this dialogue, which will be moderated by the writer Sebastià Portell, Antònia Vicens and Biel Mesquidae will be talking about their latest books, Quasi un miracle (La Magrana, 2022) and Encarnacions (LaBreu Edicions, 2022) respectively. The two most recent works by two of the most outstanding authors of the 1970s Generation in Mallorca.
Antònia Vicens has written novels, short stories and anthologies of poems. Her work has earned her awards such as the Creu de Sant Jordi, the National Poetry Prize and the National Prize for Culture. Her books have been translated into several languages.
Biel Mesquida is a cultural agitator, writer, translator, film scriptwriter and collaborator in the media. The Prudenci Bertrana and Ciutat de Barcelona awards are just two of the many recognitions earned with his work. He has been awarded the National Prize for Culture and the Catalan Book Week Lifetime Achievement award.
