As part of its “Ocean Cities” programme, and coinciding with the 2024 edition of the European Prize for Urban Public Space, the CCCB is organising the debates “Cities and seas in times of climate emergency” to discuss the main challenges facing maritime cities in the coming decades.
The debates will feature the advice of Francesco Musco, member of the jury for the European Prize for Urban Public Space and expert on the challenges of urban seafronts. The sessions also feature the collaboration of the ETSAV and the participation of local and international experts, with presentations open to the general public as a way of raising awareness about these issues. During the meetings, audiences will be presented with the short-listed projects in the “Seafronts” category of the European Prize for Urban Public Space 2024.
