Sarah Morris

Correspondent for Spain and Portugal, France 24

Sarah Morris is the correspondent for Spain and Portugal for the international TV station France24. She has covered Spain for the English channel since 2009, reporting on everything from the financial and economic crisis affecting the country to the Covid pandemic and its aftermath, including sport, general and regional elections, business and social affairs. She also contributes to other media including the Irish radio station RTE, the BBC, The Times and The Guardian. She is a columnist for leading Spanish newspaper 20minutos and a regular on the popular radio show A Vivir Que Son Dos Dias with Javier del Pino on Cadena Ser. In September the International Press Club of Spain named her "best foreign correspondent in Spain", praising the "rigour and objectivity" of her reporting. From 2016 to 2019 she was vice-president of the Circle of Foreign Correspondents in Spain. Previously, Sarah worked for almost 10 years for the news agency Reuters in Madrid. She was also a reporter and sub-editor in Brussels, Copenhagen and various regional newspapers in England. She spent seven months teaching English in Cottbus in eastern Germany.
